The Clutts Agency, Inc is a full service, SAG/AFTRA franchised agency. Founded in 1997 by former Neiman Marcus Fashion & Product Creative, John Clutts.
We represent actors, models, stylists, hair & make-up, + locations.
John Clutts | President
John Clutts is a native Dallasite, St. Mark’s graduate and former Neiman Marcus creative with over 30 years of experience in the photo industry. He has worked as an art director, consultant, producer, stylist, actor, director, choreographer, and assistant. He understands what it takes to be on both sides of the camera and knows what it means to be both artist and client.
He has ‘been there – shot that’ for almost every category you can think of. Whether stopping traffic on the Brooklyn Bridge or shooting in Los Angeles with famed photographers, he has literally shot from coast to coast.
John considers himself blessed and makes giving back to the community a priority. He currently serves on the board of Dallas Contemporary and The Aging Mind Foundation. He has served the USA Film Festival, The Dallas Children’s Theater, Dallas Fashion Incubator, DIFFA/Dallas, and The Suicide and Crisis Center. In 2005 he was given DIFFA’s highest honor, THE LEGEND AWARD for his contributions of time and money in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
Regan Ballmer | Agency Director | Product + Locations
Regan Ballmer was born in Dallas and grew up in Arlington. She is a graduate of The Art Institute of Dallas with a degree in Fashion Marketing and spent time studying abroad in Paris, France.
This led to an internship with The Clutts Agency in 1999 where she had the opportunity to explore a different side of the industry. Regan immediately found her passion in the agency working with creatives.
Regan’s career has grown in tandem with the growth of The Clutts Agency over the past 20+ years. She is the walking definition of ‘cross-trained’. She has worn many hats and has been part of every division.
Christopher Porter | Booking Director | Fashion
Christopher Porter was born in Connecticut. After several years his family moved to California where he lived until finally landing in Arlington, TX.
Christopher also attended The Art Institute of Dallas and received his degree in Fashion Merchandising in 1997.
His relationship with the agency spans over twenty years, as he was our very first intern and second employee, hired in 1997. After interning, Christopher was promoted to our booking agent and producer.
After 7 years with the agency he then went on to Neiman Marcus where he worked in their photo studio coordinating and styling for their website. After several years, Christopher came back to the agency to be represented as a prop stylist. Most recently he worked for L’Oreal before returning to us, where he now works as the agency Creative Director.
Lucky for us – he reunited with The Clutts Agency in 2013!
Anne Welch | Children’s Division | Broadcast + Print
Anne Welch was born and raised in Baton Rouge, LA and is a graduate of LSU.
She has spent over 30 years working in the advertising and print industries in Dallas. She began her career in 1989 as the Children’s Agent at The Kim Dawson Agency where she worked for 12 years. Her depth of industry experience includes work as a fashion stylist, soft stylist, production coordinator, photo rep, and an occasional hand model.
Anne started the Children’s Division for The Clutts Agency in 2003 when we expanded to representing talent. She left the agency after several years to stay at home and raise her daughter and then came back to The Clutts Agency in 2013.
Edward Winkler | Adult Division | Broadcast + Commercial Print
Edward Winkler grew up in Dallas and is a graduate of UNT.
His career started with The Kim Dawson Agency in 1991 representing promotional models. He later moved to Los Angeles and worked at Talent Works, Don Buchwald, and MC Talent Management. During his time in LA, he represented many celebrities and booked talent on major roles.
After two decades in California, Edward moved back to his roots in Texas and joined The Clutts Agency in 2018.
Edward enjoys traveling to showcases scouting new talent and developing them for the LA market.
